T.D. Hawkins, CPA, CVA

T.D. is a shareholder of Hurd, Hawkins, Meyers & Radosevich, P.A. He joined the firm in 1984 and has been a shareholder since 1989. He is the small business accounting and the technology principal for the firm. His responsibilities include supervising and reviewing small business client accounting, financial and tax preparation, oversight of the firm's computer operations, and outside computer consulting.

T.D. carries the distinguished designation as a Certified Valuation Analyst which has enabled him to conduct numerous business valuations. He has continued his client service enhancement by obtaining his NASD series 7 and 66 licenses and also health, life and annuity licenses.

T.D. has used his education and experience not only to enhance the quality of his clients' businesses, but also to give service to the community. He was an adjunct faculty member for ten years teaching accounting, tax, and computer related courses on a part-time basis at St. Petersburg College. He has served on many boards over the past twenty-five years. He has been chairman of the Board and chairman of the Finance Committee of Anona United Methodist Church, Sun Coast Hospital Foundation, and Sun Coast Hospital. He is currently the chairman of the Board of Achieva Credit Union and has served on the Board since 2004. Additionally, he was Vice President of Largo Chamber of Commerce and the Largo Little League. He was also president of the Osceola High School Booster Club.

After serving three years as an officer in the U.S. Army, he obtained Master Degrees in Business Administration and Urban Planning. He received his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1984.

T.D. was born and spent his childhood in Tennessee. His hobbies include running, snow skiing, and traveling. He is married and has two adult children.
